Mikae Natsuyama – zang
Mikae Natsuyama was born In Japan, where she studied Church Music at the Elizabeth University of Music in Hiroshima. Here, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree.
Since 1992 she lives in The Hague to advance her study and career in early music. She received vocal ensemble training for the medieval, renaissance and baroque repertoires from dr. Rebecca Stewart at the Brabants Conservatory in Tilburg and obtained a chamber music diploma and a Master’s degree in Early Music Singing with Marius van Altena, Thea van der Putten and Jill Feldman at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
She has extensive stage experience, singing both in her native country Japan and in Europe as a soloist as well as an ensemble and choir singer. She performed during many international festival s including the Early Music in Utrecht, as well as events in Antwerp, Bruges, Berlin, Brezice, Royaumont, Tel-Aviv.
2010 she sang the leading part of ‘’A.M.” , a music theatre production by Arnoud Noordegraaf, which was performed at the famous international festival for contemporary art, the “November Music Festival” and the Holland Festival in The Netherlands.
