Van Bach tot Debussy: Liza Franken op piano en cello

Jong dubbeltalent Lisa Franken bespeelt zowel piano als cello en heeft op beide instrumenten al vele prijzen in de wacht gesleept. In de Geelvinck Salon van 6 april 2014 neemt zij ons mee op een muzikale reis door de tijd, van Bach tot Debussy, met composities voor piano en cello solo.

Diploma’s en opleidingen
Vanaf 2000 opleiding violoncello aan de Musikhochschule Köln (Keulen, Duitsland) bij Prof. M. Kliegel, afgesloten 2006 met “zeer goed”.
Vanaf 2005 Bachelor of Music-opleiding violoncello aan het Conservatorium Maastricht bij M.Iancovici, afgesloten. 2007 “cum laude“.
Vanaf 2005 diplomaopleiding piano aan de Musikhochschule Köln (Keulen, Duitsland), bij Prof. V. Lobanov en Prof. P. Gililov.
Vanaf 2007 violoncello postgraduate course aan het Conservatorium Maastricht M.Iancovici, afgesloten in 2009 “cum laude”.
Vanaf 2009 Bachelor of Music-opleiding piano aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (België) bij Prof. D. Blumenthal, afgesloten 2010 “met onderscheiding”.
2010-2011 binnen een jaar Master of Music-opleiding piano aan het Conservatorium Maastricht bij Tellen, afgesloten 2011 met het hoogste cijfer 9,5.
Beroepservaring
Sinds 2013 in de postitie van associated Principal Cello (Co-Solocellist) met de taak van solo-stemvoerder bij het Sinfonieorkest te Aken/Du.
2012 samenwerking met het Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra als Sub-Principal Cello
2011 samenwerking met de Vlaamse Opera Gent/Antwerpen als Cello-Soloist
In hetzelfde jaar ook via audities in Den Haag uitgenodigd voor de deelname aan het Young Artists Festival Bayreuth
2005-2006 persoonlijke coaching door Ch. Brunnert, principal Violoncello Beethovenhalle Orchestra, Bonn (Duitsland).
2000-2010 speelervaring in diverse Duitse orkesten, o.a. Düsseldorfer Symphoniker (Tonhalle Duesseldorf, Germany) en Young Philarmony Cologne (Cologne, Germany), gedurende de studie als principal cello van het conservatorium-orkest. Het examen als orkestspeler afgesloten met ‘Cum Laude”.
