Earl Christy – Lute
Earl Christy is an American baroque lutenist who is internationally active as a performer, editor, composer and historian. He has studied with some of the most well respected teachers in the world (Toyohiko Satoh at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, Nigel North at the University of Indiana, and Paul Beier at the Accademia Internazionale della Musica in Milano). As a soloist, Earl has given numerous concerts throughout Europe and North America.
As well as performance, Earl is an active composer for the baroque lute whose works have been published and performed. His most recent CD “Neue Lautenfruchte”, which features his own compositions for lute, has been enthusiastically received by numerous international journals. He has also been invited to give masterclasses on baroque performance and interpretation and has seen his articles and editions published in international journals.

Cristian Gutiérrez – baroque guitar and chitarronne
Cristian Gutiérrez studied classical guitar in the University of Chile, graduating with the first prize. In 1999 he was the only recipient of the prize that the “Municipal Theater of Chile” awards to young national talents. He received a scholarship from his country for advanced studies in Spain, where he completed his studies in lute, baroque guitar and theorbo with the highest academic distinction.
Cristian has made numerous recordings, including the award winning “A tocar, a cantar, a baylar”, and his outstanding work led to collaborations with such outstanding personalities as Monica Huggett, Bruce Dickey, Gabriel Garrido, Charles Toet, Manfredo Kraemer, Michael Chance, Rodrigo del Pozo, Pedro Estevan and Ventura Rico. He has performed in Chile, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Greece, France, Israel, Italy, Korea, the United States, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and Uruguay.
