Anna Katynska, Baroque Cello
Ania Katynska is a baroque cello, viola da gamba and basse de violon player. She studied with Jaap ter Linden, Phoebe Carrai, Markus Möllenbeck, Mark Caudle and Kazimierz Pyzik.
Ania has collaborated with Arte dei Suonatori, New Dutch Academy, International Baroque Players, Harmony of Nations, Collegium Musicum Den Haag and Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra. She is currently a member of ensembles Concordi Musici, Ensemble Eloquentia and Parnassos.
Ania has given solo recitals on festivals in Ukraine, Poland and France, and recorded with Arte dei Suonatori, Parnassos and International Baroque Players. Along her playing carrier, Ania regularly teaches, among all during Les Ateliers de Musique Ancienne in Le Treport, each summer since 5 years, and as a member of the teaching staff at Pegasus School for Early Music, Amsterdam.
On 16 June 2013, Anna will perform J.S. Bach’s Cello Suites in the Geelvinck Salon, during the Open Garden Days 2013.
