Pre-Finissage / Kerstborrel: 7 december

De Russische schilderes Olga Okuneva stelt schilderijen en grafiek ten toon op de eerste etage van Museum Geelvinck.

Op 7 december vindt in samenwerking met de Rusland Tafel van de Industrieele Groote Club, een Pre-Finissage en tevens Kerstborrel plaats, waarbij u van harte welkom bent, tussen 14 en 17 uur.

U hebt tevens kans om een kunstwerk op klein formaat van Olga Okuneva te verwerven.

De tentoonstelling, geopend op 4 oktober 2014, loopt nog door tot en met zondag 21december 2014.

Openingstijden: zaterdag en zondag van 11 – 17 uur.

Olga Okuneva

Olga Okuneva is een schilderes, grafica en boekillustrator. Zij was auteur van een aantal grote kunstprojecten zoals Samyatra, The Way to the Ocean, Mahabharata en Sacred Grove, die resulteerden in opmerkelijke culturele evenementen. Olga kan terugkijken op meer dan 50 solo-groeps-en internationale tentoonstellingen in verschillende landen. Haar werken zijn geexposeerd in het Museum of Contemporary Art Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, India, het State Museum of Oriental Art in Moskou, Rusland, het Fries Grafisch Museum in Joure en het Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts in Rusland.

Door haar kunst deelt zij met ons haar manier van kijken naar de schoonheid van de wereld, zowel in haar grandeur als in haar alledaagse eenvoud, alsmede impressies van haar reizen en wandelingen.

Op de tentoonstelling in het Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis kunt u kunstwerken van Olga Okuneva bekijken uit verschillende perioden. De expositie volgt op de publicatie van het boek over haar leven en werk: Olga Okuneva, Schilderijen en Grafiek.

Olga Okuneva

Olga Okuneva is a painter, graphic artist and a book illustrator. She was an author of a number of large-scale art projects, such as ‘Samyatra’, ‘The Way to the Ocean’, ‘Mahabharata’, ‘Sacred Grove’, which turned into remarkable cultural events. Olga had more than 50 personal, group and international exhibitions in different countries. Her works have been exhibited in The Museum of Contemporary Art Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, India; State Museum or Oriental Art in Moscow, Russia; Fries Graphic Museum in Joure, The Netherlands; Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts, Russia.

Through her art she shares with us her way of seeing the beauty of the world both in his grandeur and in its everyday discreet simplicity, the impressions of her travels and wanderings.

In Museum Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis you can see the art works of Olga Okuneva from different periods. The exposition follows the publication of her art book “Olga Okuneva. Paintings & Graphics”.

The exhibition is open from October 4 to December 21, 2014 on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 to 17.00, other days on appointment with the artist.
