Zur Program:

Sabine Eichner und Olga Paschchenko musizieren Werke von Mahler, Dvorak und Rachmaninoff.

Eingeleitet wird das Recital durch eine Folge altitalienischer Canzonen. Die grossen Themen sind Leidenschaft; Liebe und Spiritualität.
Die BIBLISCHEN LIEDER von Antonin Dvorak erklingen in einer Übersetzung von Sabine Eichner, die sich eng am Text Davids (Buch der Psalmen) orientiert. Die Lieder werden in der Reihenfolge ihrer Entstehung präsentiert.
Dvorak komponierte sie in New York, während der Schaffensphase, starben Tschaikowsky, Gounod und Dvoraks Vater.

Mahler beschäftigt sich in seinem Liedgut immer wieder mit der Unvereinbarkeit zwischen Mann und Frau: der Mann zielorientiert, die Liebe eher als Nebenschauplatz des Lebens begreifend, die Frau von ihren Gefühlen durchsetzt. Ein ewiger Kampf, den Mahler selbst nur durch extreme Herrschsucht zu bewältigen suchte. Dann, in seinen spirituellen Liedern kindhafte Reinheit des Empfindens, so z.B. in Urlicht oder den Rückert-Liedern.

Rachmaninoff: das östliche Pendant dazu, wild, zart, unbedingt im Ausdruck der Emotionen.

Das Recital bietet eine Annäherung an das Empfinden der Spätromantik aus verschiedenen Perspektiven.

Sabine Eichner war bereits mehrmals mit Pianist Ivan Sokolov zu Gast im Museum Geelvinck, zuletzt in 2012 mit “NUR SCHUBERT”.
Mit Olga Paschchenko führte sie zuletzt Hindeniths Marienleben in Bonn auf (28.9.14).

Sabine Eichner – sopraan

Sabine Eichner studierte Gesang in Köln und Feldkirch ( Österreich) und arbeitete von 1998 bis 2008 an der Oper Bonn. Schon immer war ihr künstlerischer Schwerpunkt das Lied. 2001 lernte sie Ivan Sokolov als Begleiter kennen, mit dem sie zunächst klassisches Repertoire sang, dann zunehmend moderne Musik und vor allem russische Musik.

Eichner musizierte im Kammermusiksaal des Beethovenhauses Bonn ( 2005: das Buch der hängenden Gärten), im Rheinischen Landesmuseum Bonn (2010 Marienleben von Hindemith) sowie auf zahlreichen Festivals. In Basel ist sie regelmäßig zu Gast. Im September 2012 hat sie drei Konzertabende in Moskau gestaltet. 2011 führte sie die Winterreise in eigener überarbeiteter Fassung auf.

Im Museum Geelvinck war Eichner schon drei Mal gern zu Gast.

De Geelvinck Salon van 15 januari 2012 stond in het teken van het lied. In het recital ‘Baroque meets Impressionismus’ richtte Sabine Eichner de spotlights op twee periodes van de Europese liedkunst: de Italiaanse vroeg-barok met Caccini en Vivaldi en het 20-ste eeuwse Franse impressionisme van Poulenc, Faure en Debussy. Het recital werd besloten met gedichten van Rilke, door Hindemith op muziek gezet. Sabine werd begeleid door de Russische pianist Ivan Sokolov, op virginaal in de Blauwe Kamer en op een Steinweg Nachf. vleugel 1880 in de Rembrandtzaal.

Olga Pashchenko – harpsichordist, pianist, fortepianist, organist.

Olga Pashchenko is a young artist who has already established a reputation as a versatile performer with her own individual style of performance notable for sensitiveness toward different musical styles, virtuosity, wealth of color and special approach to each instrument she plays.

Olga Pashchenko was born in 1986 in Moscow. She began her musical studies at the age of six in the Children’s Myaskovski Music School in the piano class of Sofia Genis. 1993 became laureate of the All-Russian Young Pianists’Competition.

In 1993 Olga entered the Moscow Special Gnessin Music School where she studied piano with Tatiana Zelikman and harpsichord with Olga Martynova. She gave her first piano recital in New York at the age of 9. In 2002 was granted the scholarship of the fund “Russian Performance Art”. In 2003 became laureate of the Third International Gnessin Young Artists Competition and the Third International Beethoven Festival of Chamber Music.

In 2005 Olga Pashchenko graduated with honors from the Gnessin School and entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

2010 she graduated with honors from two departments of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory – Department of Historical and Modern Art Performance where she studied with professor Alexei Lubimov (piano), professor Olga Martynova (harpsichord, fortepiano), and Organ Department – class of Alexei Shmitov.

In 2010 Olga Pashchenko has entered the postgraduate studies of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory – class of professor Alexei Lubimov, research supervisor – D.Mus.A. Konstantin Zenkin.

2011 entered Amsterdam Conservatory for fortepiano and harpsichord master studies under Richard Egarr.
