Mediterranean Trio:
Het “Mediterranean Trio” werd opgericht voor de “Cyprus Lente 2014”, georganiseerd door de ambassade van Cyprus in Duitsland, en trad met groot succes op in het Gasteig theater in Munchen, het Cultureel Festival van de Universiteit Cyprus in Nicosia, het “Beethoven Haus” in Bonn, het Amsterdamse Geelvinck Museum, en het Volksbühne theater in Berlijn. In 2015 optredens in Amsterdam en Athene, en de opnames voor de eerste CD in Berlijn. De meeste door hen gespeelde muziek werd speciaal voor het trio gecomponeerd, in een mengsel van zulke verschillende stijlen als jazz, improvisatie, folklore, oude barokmuziek, en klassieke muziek.
Dat maakt de klanken van dit trio uniek.

About the Mediterranean Trio:
The Mediterranean Trio was created on the occasion of the “Cyprus Spring 2014” organised by the Embassy of Cyprus in Germany, and recently performed with great success at the Gasteig Theatre in Munich, Beethoven-House in Bonn, Axiothea Mansion in Nicosia, and Volksbühne in Berlin. The three musicians build upon different musical experiences from the field of classical music, jazz, pop, improvisation, and traditional music, offering an impressive fusion of styles and genres. This unique chamber music ensemble develops an interaction between traditional and modern, proposing a new aesthetic approach to contemporary music.
