Fabio Crescimanno

Studied Recorder in Basel with Conrad Steinmann and in Milan with Pedro Memelsdorf, Traverso and Classical Flute in Utrecht with Wilbert Hazelzet.

Since Early age he is being active in performing the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque repertoire as part of various period instrument’s Orchestras and Ensembles.

With the Ensemble “Elyma” conducted by Gabriel Garrido he performed extensively in Europe and took part of several recordings for the label K617 amongst which “Il Ritorno di Ulisse in patria” and “L’incoronazione di Poppea” by Claudio Monteverdi.

Since 2008 he lives in Amsterdam, where he teaches and performs as member of various Baroque orchestras and chamber music ensembles amongst which, Concerto Barocco, Florilegium, The Bach Orcherstra of the Netherlands, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra.

An active chamber music player he is a founding member of the Ensembles, “Bacchus”, specialized in the performance of 18th century vocal and instrumental music and “Trio Classico”, specialized in the performance of the pre-classical chamber music repertoire.
