Huis De Oldenhof/ Ov. beschikt nu over een vleugel: een vroegmoderne Belehradek salonvleugel Mignon uit ca. 1880-1885, die dankzij een particuliere schenking aan Museum Geelvinck, nu een nieuwe locatie gevonden heeft ten huize van De Oldenhof, Oppen Swolle 7, Vollenhove, Overijsel.

Beethoven en Chopin

Op 14 december zullen fortepianiste Olga Pashchenko en celliste Irene Kok in Huis de Oldenhof in deze Adventstijd een Kerstrecital geven met muziek van Beethoven en Chopin.

Op het programma staan Beethoven op. 69 Sonata and Chopin op. 65 Sonata.

Olga Pashchenko – fortepiano

Olga Pashchenko is a young artist who has already established a reputation as a versatile performer with her own individual style of performance notable for sensitiveness toward different musical styles, virtuosity, wealth of color and special approach to each instrument she plays.

Olga Pashchenko was born in 1986 in Moscow. She began her musical studies at the age of six in the Children’s Myaskovski Music School in the piano class of Sofia Genis. 1993 became laureate of the All-Russian Young Pianists’Competition.

In 1993 Olga entered the Moscow Special Gnessin Music School where she studied piano with Tatiana Zelikman and harpsichord with Olga Martynova. She gave her first piano recital in New York at the age of 9. In 2002 was granted the scholarship of the fund “Russian Performance Art”. In 2003 she became laureate of the Third International Gnessin Young Artists Competition and the Third International Beethoven Festival of Chamber Music.

In 2005 Olga Pashchenko graduated with honors from the Gnessin School and entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

2010 she graduated with honors from two departments of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory – Department of Historical and Modern Art Performance where she studied with professor Alexei Lubimov (piano), professor Olga Martynova (harpsichord, fortepiano), and Organ Department – class of Alexei Shmitov.

In 2010 Olga Pashchenko has entered the postgraduate studies of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory – class of professor Alexei Lubimov, research supervisor – D.Mus.A. Konstantin Zenkin.

2014 she received her master degree cum laude as a fortepianist and harpsichordist from Amsterdam Conservatory under Richard Egarr.

2010 – prizewinner of the First International Volkonsky Harpsichord Competition in Moscow (Second prize and Special Prize for the best performance of the Russian harpsichord piece – Fandango by Ivan Pratsch)

2010 – prizewinner (Second prize) of the Oude Muziek Competition in Bruges in the fortepiano nomination

2011 – winner of the First International Fortepiano Competition Schloss Kremsegg

2014 – winner of Public’s Prize, Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival Amsterdam

Irene Kok – cello

begon haar studie bij Jeroen Reuling in de jong talentenklas aan het Artez-conservatorium. In 2014 ronde ze haar bachelor studie af aan het conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Momenteel volgt ze 2 masterstudies; een master cello bij Jeroen den Herder en een master barokcello bij Viola de Hoog. Daarnaast is ze aangenomen voor de masteracademie van het Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest voor het seizoen 2014/15.

Irene is zeer actief op gebied van kamermuziek. Ze maakt onder andere onderdeel uit van het Chimaera trio, het Intercontinentaal ensemble en het Amsterdam Corelli Collective.

Met deze en andere ensembles speelde Irene de afgelopen veel concerten in het binnen en buitenland.

Zo speelde ze onder andere in de Staats Philharmonie van Minsk, Het Megaron in Athene, de kleine zaal van het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam en op festivals als het Internationaal kamermuziekfestival Utrecht van Janine Jansen en het Emmy Verhey festival.

Irene was succesvol bij meerdere nationale concoursen waaronder een eerste prijs bij het Prinses Christina concours. Ze was finalist tijdens ‘The 17th Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music competition’ in Polen en recent won ze een eerste prijs tijdens het Euroconcours cello.

Irene volgde masterclasses bij onder andere: Gary Hoffman, David Geringas, Anner Bijlsma, Uzi Wiesel en Vladimir Perlin.

Irene bespeelt een Capicchioni uit Cremona (Italië) die haar tot beschikking is gesteld door het Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds.
